Why I’m Running for Re-Election: Continuing the Work for District 2

When I first ran to represent Anderson County Council District 2, I made a commitment to serve with integrity, listen to the people, and fight for the needs of our community.

That commitment has never changed.

Since taking office, my focus has been clear: make District 2 safer, stronger, and better positioned for growth.

I believe leadership is not about making promises. It is about showing up, listening, and delivering results that improve everyday life for the people we serve.

Over the last several years, we have made meaningful progress together.

We have worked to improve public safety by advocating for increased law enforcement presence throughout the district. Residents have seen more patrol visibility, stronger community engagement, and a continued focus on reducing crime in our neighborhoods, including areas such as Homeland Park.

We have also stayed focused on community pride and beautification.

Litter may seem like a small issue to some, but it affects how people feel about where they live. Cleaner streets and public spaces help restore pride, improve appearance, and send a message that our neighborhoods matter.

At the same time, District 2 continues to grow.

Growth is not only about development projects. Real growth means stronger neighborhoods, more opportunities for families, safer communities, and investments that benefit everyone.

That is the kind of progress I believe in.

But our work is not finished.

There is still more to do.

We must continue investing in public safety, expanding youth and community programs, creating economic opportunity, and building cleaner, stronger neighborhoods for future generations.

District 2 deserves leadership that remains accessible, responsive, and committed to the people.

I am proud of what we have accomplished together, and I am ready to continue moving our community forward.

On November 3, 2026, I humbly ask for your vote.

Together, we can continue building a stronger District 2 and a brighter future for Anderson County.
